    Caitlyn Wallace, LCSW

Facing the challenges of parenting can be daunting. Experiencing depression, anxiety, or other mental health concerns in addition to having a new baby can create unique challenges that need specialized treatment. My practice specializes in perinatal mental health and helping new parents. I believe in a whole-person, whole-hearted approach to treatment and strive to help clients move forward with a meaningful and purpose-filled life. Therapy is done with a collaborative approach, helping you find what matters and make changes as you enter a new season of life. I believe you are the expert on your life, and will work with you to honor your emotions, speak your truth, and come home to your heart.

    Training

I have training in third-wave behavioral treatments (ACT, Mindfulness-Based CBT), traditional CBT, and additional training in trauma, IFS, and Somatic Experiencing as well. I have completed both the Components of Care and Advanced Psychotherapy through Postpartum Support International. Additionally, I offer Walk-and-Talk therapy, and an ecopsychology informed approach when helpful. I emphasize the relationship between myself and my clients and work collaboratively with clients to create a safe, open, and healing space free of judgment.

    Specialities

My practice specializes in treating pregnant people, the newly parenting, women across the life span, and people in life transitions, though I also enjoy working with other challenges as well. I offer comprehensive services dealing with:
